Juniors Jackson Dye and Kamryn Ledbetter were recently accepted to go to Springfield with Wabash and Clay Electric Co-ops to the Youth Day hosted by Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives (AIEC). The two were split into groups with students from other areas. While in Springfield, Dye and Ledbetter were able to tour the State Capitol and meet with politicians and other state officials. They also visited the Lincoln Museum where they learned more about Lincoln's history. Additionally, both Dye and Ledbetter also had the opportunity to interview for the chance to go on a free week trip to Washington D.C., of which those results are not available yet.
