First Grade Students Brandish their New Books

The Clay City Library's Book Fair was a smashing success.  Opening night was paired with a family literacy event featuring exotic animals.  Topping out at over $2,000 in sales, this fair was the best in recent years.  Clay City School Librarian, Michelle Phegley, wants to highlight that "volunteers drove the success of this event and parents really came out and supported our library.  Special thanks to Kim Ahfield (3rd), Melissa Worrell (Paraprofessional), and Angie Wickie (Paraprofessional).  In addition to staff,  students who helped with set up and tear down included Billy Wickie, Samuel Hall, Elliot Kessler, Keegan Sullens, Chase Bangeert, Clara Hagen, and Brenley Mitchel.
