bowling

Clay City Schools is wrapping up first semester with some good old fashioned fun and creating memories for a lifetime.  As a cooperative effort of PE classes and PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies), students in junior high and high school took a field trip to Effingham to bowl.  Bowling is one of those lifelong sports that can have health benefits like building muscle mass and decreasing stress.  PBIS under the leadership of Leslie Keller plans motivating activities for students to increase morale and promote positive behaviors in the school environment.  With PE teachers Bethany Kuhlig, Theresa Draper, and Misty Green on board, this field trip was the culmination of a unit in PE dedicated to bowling.
