Mrs. Walker has some very creative 6th grade students. Just before Christmas break, they had to assemble a circuit, describe how energy is transferred and transformed through the circuit, and make their circuit a major component of a creation of their choosing. They did a great job!

Clay City Elementary students who met their semester AR point goal celebrated this week at The Speakeasy Arcade in Olney. In addition to playing arcade games, students were treated to Domino's Pizza, lemonade, and cookies. These students have worked hard all semester to earn their spot at the party and enjoyed their time with friends. Thank you to The Clay City Banking Co. for their generous donation that made this field trip happen! Great work students, and be sure to work just as hard next semester!

Clay City CUSD 10 employees had an Underground Staff Spirit Week this week. Staff must have been having too much fun because only one picture was snagged for the whole week! Teachers participated in a pajama day, an all-black day, mixed prints day, anything but a cup, and rhyme without reason. The students enjoyed trying to figure out what would be the next day's theme!
