Due to the 2nd grade field trip returning behind schedule, our busses will drop off 10-15 minutes late today. We apologize for any inconvenience.


Attention High School Students and Parents:
This is a reminder that no cell phones or smart watches are allowed in testing rooms on April 9.
Please do not bring cell phones or smart watches to school or lock them in lockers.
Students cannot have access to phones during the 15 minute break scheduled for snacks. Students will be able to access phones and text again once testing concludes.

Due to IAR testing, elementary tutoring will be CANCELLED this week - April 8 - April 11. Jr. High tutoring will still occur as scheduled.

Tomorrow's (Saturday 4/6) HS Baseball tournament at Freeburg has been cancelled with no makeup date available at this time. Their next game is Tuesday 4/8 vs. Robinson 4:30pm.


Today's CCJH Track meet at St. Joe (RCHS) has been cancelled due to weather.


On April 4th each year, National School Librarian Day recognizes the professionals who keep the school library in working order. School librarians spend long hours keeping the library organized. They are also dedicated to helping our children find the resources they need to keep learning. School librarians are the people who create an environment where students can learn every day of the year. To Mrs. Goodrum, our librarian here at Clay City Schools, Happy National School Librarian Day!

Last week, high school students traveled to Cedarhurst Center for The Arts in Mt. Vernon to see a play of the novel "Number the Stars" by Lois Lowry.





Today's HS Softball game at B/SE has been rescheduled for Friday 4/11 4:30pm. Their next game is Wednesday 4/9 vs. Altamont 4:30pm.
Today's HS Baseball game at Carmi has been cancelled with no makeup date available at this time. Their next game is Saturday 4/5 at Freeburg Round Robin 10:00am.


Today is National Paraprofessionals Day! This day recognizes the hard work and dedication of paraprofessionals who support students and teachers in schools. Thank you for all your support!

To ensure the safety of our students and staff, Clay City CUSD 10 schools will release at 2:30 pm today - Wednesday, April 2 - due to the risk of inclement weather.


CCJH Track practice has been canceled today - Wednesday, April 2 - due to weather risks. There will be practice tomorrow until 4:30pm.
