
Hey students! Our $5 Book Fair is this week on Wednesday and Thursday! There will be LOTS of books about animals, dinosaurs, unicorns, princesses, searches, wipe-offs, true stories, and lots more! See you at the book fair!


Eighth grade graduation cap and gown money is due this Friday - March 28. Please make checks payable to Clay City Schools. If you have any questions, please contact the office at 618-676-1431.

Would you like to learn more about the 1% County School Facility Tax?
On Thursday, March 27, Superintendent Mr. Neubaum will be hosting an informational meeting in the Clay City High School Straley Center at 6:00pm. We encourage everyone to attend to learn more about the tax and ask any questions you may have.

Clay City Community Schools hosted a Pink Out Volleyball game March 10th against Flora and raised money for Clay County Cancer Crusaders in the amount of $938. Thanks for showing up and showing out Clay County! Eighth grade volleyball player Ellen Tolliver presents Nancy Mills and Sherry Gibbs the check alongside principal Mr. Wattles.


REMINDER: Spring individual pictures, spring sports, and club picture day will be on TUESDAY - March 25th. Pre-K - 8th grade picture order forms will be going home today. If high school students would like spring pictures, they will need to pick up their order form in the high school office.

Penny Dunn and Alyssa Anderson visited Mrs. Yates' kindergarteners today. They read "The Underpants" by Tammi Sauer. The class loved it! Underwear is always a favorite topic of kindergartners! They also gave the kids each a scratch and sniff bookmark. Thank you Clay City Banking Co.!

ALL Clay City 2023-2024 yearbooks are in stock. If your student is a 2024 graduate, please stop by the unit office for pick up.
If you missed ordering, don't worry! Yearbooks can still be purchased: elementary/JH - $15, high school - $20.
