CCJH Track & Field's meet at Teutopolis has been canceled. The athletes were already en route to T-Town. Bus should return to Clay City at 3:30pm. Please come and pick up your student. Thank you!

Today is the LAST day for our $5 Book Fair, so be sure to have your student let their teacher know if they brought money to shop. Enjoy those new books and keep reading!


On March 22, senior Elizabetha Hagen went to Mt. Zion to compete in the State Proficiency Contest with her SOE Finance and Business record book. She had put in a lot of hard work to advance this far. Hagen ended the day placing 2nd at state. Congratulations Ellie on such a great accomplishment!





Mrs. Hildebrand took a group of juniors to the OCC Career and Technical Showcase today. They were able to tour and learn more about the welding, industrial maintenance, HVAC, and automotive programs at OCC.

Looking ahead... you and your family can help contribute to CCHS Post Prom just by dining out. On April 2nd, a portion of the proceeds from La Fuente in Flora will go to Post Prom. Then on April 13th, The Scoop on Main in Clay City will be donating 10% of sales plus all tips to Post Prom. Have some delicious food and support these students!


There will be a Post Prom meeting held on Tuesday, April 1 at 5:30pm in the Clay City Schools Library.


REMINDER: On Thursday, March 27, Superintendent Mr. Neubaum will be hosting an informational meeting in the Clay City High School Straley Center at 6:00pm. We encourage everyone to attend to learn more about the tax and ask any questions you may have. Weekly Announcements • March 24 - March 30


On Monday evening, the National Honor Society inducted four new members and honored seniors with graduation cords. The inductees were Jack Dye, Kynadie Mitchel, Gracie Donaldson, and Molly Worrell. The seniors honored with cords were Katelyn Workman, Beth Norton, Ellie Hagen, and Keidra Kuenstler (Connor Taylor, not pictured). Congratulations to these students on their academic achievements!



The CCJH Volleyball team enjoyed their dinner party thanks to La Fuente Mexican Restaurant in Flora. It was a great way to wrap up the season!


Fifth grader Arias Workman has achieved over 100 Accelerated Reader points this semester! He reached the milestone on March 19. Great job Arias, and keep reading!


REMINDER: Lifetouch will be at Clay City Schools tomorrow - TUESDAY, MARCH 25 - for spring pictures, spring sports pictures, and club pictures. Please make checks payable to Clay City Schools.
