Madeline Deiters has left the building but we will long remember her and her lesson. Creativity is amazing and developing a talent or hobby can become more than you can imagine. We have a lot of creative people here at Clay City. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Special thanks goes to the Illinois Arts Council, Southern Illinois Art Foundation, and Artspace 304 for funding this project.

Varsity Won 25/14, 25/9 against Webber
Next game Saturday tournament at Fairfield.

Mrs. Walker's classes have been having fun learning in the lab.

Cross country will practice tonight - Thursday, August 29 - at 7pm.

Junior High Baseball for today - Thursday, August 29 - has been cancelled. There will be no game or practice.

Cornhole is what’s happening in pe and lunch activity. Good old fashioned fun.

Something exciting is happening in the library today! After the Junior High math classes estimated the surface area of some cylinders, to see how much paint we would need, a muralist is on site to test their math. This project is made possible by the Southern Illinois Arts and Artspace 304. Check out more of what Madeline Deters has completed. https://www.youtube.com/@threelineart8513

We are lucky to have SRO Phillips with us every day. Here he is playing with our 2nd grade class. Building relationships is one of the critical roles of a School Resource Officer.
