There will be a Cheerleading signup in the cafeteria/commons on Monday 2/5 with Mrs. Thompson on the lunch period for any 8th grade, Freshman, Sophomore or
Junior this year. If you wish to tryout for the 2024-25 Coop cheer team you need to sign up Monday

Sports Supper and Awards Program
The 2023-2024 Basketball and Cheer Awards will be held after a spaghetti supper at the Clay City Christian Church on Friday, February 9th at 6:30 PM.
All participants, coaches, parents, and families are invited to attend the supper and awards program.


We are excited to announce that we are partnering with the local Masonic Lodge who sponsor Bikes for Kids. This year we will have a Winter Sports awards (Basketball and Cheer) and a Spring Sports awards (High School Scholar Bowl , Jr. High Scholar Bowl and JH Volleyball)
There will be a spaghetti meal with ice cream/cake supper for participants and families at the Clay City Christian Church after which the awards will be presented.
The Winter program will be on Friday February 9, 2024 at 6:30pm.
The Spring program will be on Tuesday March 19, 2024 at 6:30pm

Reminder and Correction: The 100th day is actually Wednesday, the 31st, due to last Monday's snow day.

The winning number in the 50/50 raffle at the 6th grade tournament on Saturday was 5233988. A Mt Carmel fan purchased the winning ticket and was present to collect the $205.50 prize. The Clay City 8th grade class would like to thank everyone that participated in the raffle and supported the class.

Addition to the announcements: Congratulations to Alyssa Gerard (1st Place) and Jordyn Shadle (2nd Place) for the Poetry Out Loud Competition. The Health Department presentation has been expanded to include Body Safety on Monday and Tuesday. Thank you to everyone who played in and helped with the 6th grade tourney!

The hundredth day celebration is coming January 30!

Representatives from Clay County CEO will be here on Wednesday, January 31 at 10:00 to speak with juniors. We will be taking applications for the 2025 Class of CEO from January 29 to Friday, February 23.
